When is too much never enough? When do we need to pour it all out and give it our all? In what aspect of life do we need to bet it all, aim for the moon and pray that luck and fate will twist to guide and shield us from the deluge? Enough of the BS going around that too much of anything is never good. Well, maybe for some things like power, money and material excesses. That can be classified under greed. And it doesn't take a genius backed by scientific research and academic essays to see that we need to ease up on sweets, booze and cholesterol-laden, salt-showered, greasy food like fastfood burgers and fries. That would be under gluttony.

But when it comes to love and compassion and humility, too much is never enough. This is especially true in relationships between parents and offsprings, lovers and married couples, siblings, as well us to our fellowmen, our neighbors, our friends. To promote camaraderie and  facilitate smooth, social ties and bonds, we need to go the extra mile and give our all to make our relationships work. We need to smother our better halves, our friends, our parents and our neighbors with love and compassion. And maybe, just maybe, they will do the same to others and this amorous virus will spread around the globe, touching even the darkest corners and the coldest hearts.

And to prove that I am not a hypocrite and a preacher that is blind to her own words and teachings, I will make amends with the people I have hurt in the past year. I will be more patient with my brothers and more obedient to my parents. I will not be quick to judge others and I will not vent out my frustrations to my friends. And after I write my essay for school and finish my other homeworks, I will go down the street and apologize to our old neighbor for calling her names and being rude to her all the time. I will start the year right and I will be full of love for everybody including the people I have yet to meet and most especially for myself and my family. That is my resolution. This is my undettered resolve.
